Thanks Marius, but the issue is getting the backport request supported
for 12.04. No problems installing 12.04 on non-pae systems - however I
believe it is the last currently supported platform that works on
non-pae systems. Hence the backport request to address modem manager
bugs and issues on
I attempted unity 8 because after upstart I have no launcher ,
hud or anything else but nlank screen. I gained access to the system by
creating anew folder, in the center of my screen, using nautilus. Then I
went to /usr/share/applications to use the system.

Yes, flash player works. Anything that accesses the video fails. video
editing, vlc, etc.
I'm using Ubuntu 14.04, I had this problem. Then I updated all the
software, rebooted and it was fine.

#1335546 because I didn't get that I was pressing the back button

Although E2fsprogs version 1.42.8 is not the latest version, the problem
isn't mentioned in any of the subsequent E2fsprogs release notes, so it
obviously hasn't been fixed yet.

Sorry for the noise. That symptom was only on an older chroot.
Destroying the old one and creating a fresh armhf chroot solved the
problem.

In NTFS (and possibly other non-Linux filesystems), adding a '-v' switch
to the filefrag command gives a different result from executing the
command without the '-v' switch, for the same file.
For example:
