Same problem for me.
Lock screen works fine, but if I try to unlock after few minutes, I got the
password prompt again.
I got access to my Ubuntu laptop (14.10) only forcing a power cycle, pressing
the power button for 5 seconds.
Local user for me as well and it's probably hard to troubleshoot
Also checked the recent changelogs, up to 1ubuntu9 available in vivid,
and that issue seems not fixed.
The upstream team have made lot of changes with newer releases: g/h/i/j
versions already published. 'g' have a new symbol added, but not that missing
one (as i understand).

but it would be only based on a click profile-- we could add whatever we
want to it so keepDisplayOn and any other DBus accesses can just be

after researching the adbd part for two days it seems that adbd already
tries to call echo u /proc/sysrq-trigger when adb reboot is issued
but at this point we already dropped privs to the phablet user ...
/proc/sysrq-trigger is owned by root:system and writable for both, the
only solution i see
Also, it seems you don't have devtmpfs on /dev/ (which you won't get
auto-mounted without a proper init system), which triggers this.

When the user long press on a key, it opens extended characters. The
character selected by default must be the same than the character
highlighted on the base key.
For example on a French layout:
- the key 'O' shows a small '9' but a long press defaults to 'Ó'
