Hi, I started facing the "dual" problem yesterday. Instead of a blank
row, the search results in the first row had their tops cut off in step
2. and subsequently the top row of apps scope in step 3. too. Then I
restarted the device and yet to find the issue appear for a single time.
Looks like
Today I found out that outgoing calls on the bluetooth enabled Toyota
Touch system went out through sim2, although I have selected sim1 as
the default for outgoing calls.

I hope you can resolve/ revert this ASAP as it brings network down and
finding information on how to fix it becomes very complicated.
Anyway another solution to revert to the working packages is:

1. Boot "try out Ubuntu"
2. mkdir installation
3. sudo
Seems to be caused by the custom boot loader I'm using, it unpacked the files
into a subdirectory in the pen drive.
During configuration of the initramfs-tools I get the error "cp: cannot create
regular file ‘/cdrom/casper/initrd.gz.new’: No such file or directory"

Same problems as above hit me today after an update on my Ubuntu 14.04.3
LTS machine. After applying updates, networking ceased to function.
Downgraded libnl* and now networking is working again.
Luckily I was able to do the downgrade by first using recovery options
at boot from GRuB. From
