I tried starting stopping trusty, wily and xenial containers, none of
that triggers it.
What's odd though is that every report I've seen so far, show no binfmt
mounted, just the autofs. But LXC itself accesses the path so should
have triggered autofs for the previous container startups.
So either

time, I figured I'd fix my laptop and try to see what changes after a

We're seeing that weird symlink loop happen randomly on xenial machines.
Normal users likely won't notice it though as they don't use that mountpoint,
LXC users do though as LXC bind-mounts it into the containe

If you read Pierre's comment, he also mentions that the bug is already

I have this, it appeared months ago during the alpha stage i think, but it was
fixed somewhere, now, after yesterday's update it is back again.

OK, I can reproduce the issue described in comment #6 indeed.
I’m seeing one major difference: when clicking the download button
directly, the name of the file being downloaded is "Psalm23.txt",
whereas with right-click and "save link", the file name is
"Psalm23.txt?dl=1".

I can reliably reproduce the issue. And I can make it go away by typing
something in the text area and then long pressing on that text: the
"tooltip" is then populated with "Select All", "Cut" and "Copy" buttons.
"Select All" should always be available, so it’s probably a bug
somewhere in oxide.
