[Touch-packages] [Bug 1607188] [NEW] Unplugging headphones but sound still played through headphones

2016-07-27 Thread Robert Orzanna
Public bug reported:

Dear all,

Sometimes it happens that headphones remain the main output device in
the sound system settings (see attached screenshot) after having
unplugged them from the audio jack port.

The system does not recognise that the headphones are no longer present
and thus does not switch back automatically to play sound through my
Thinkpad X230 laptop speakers.

Can I provide you with any more relevant information to fix this
potential bug?

Thankfully,

~Robert

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1607190] [NEW] Feature request: activate screensaver, keep access to media player hotkeys

2016-07-27 Thread Robert Orzanna
Public bug reported:

Dear all,

Let me share a feature request with you.

Frequently, I start listening to music in Rhythmbox and then use FN + F3
on my keyboard to activate the lockscreen screensaver because it
switches of my screen after a few seconds and thus saves conserves
energy on my laptop.

However, once the screensaver is active, I cannot any longer access my
media player using my hotkeys FN + F10 (backwards), FN + F11
(play/pause) and FN + F12 (forward).

Would it be possible to keep access to these media player hotkeys with
the screensaver lock screen being enabled?

Thankfully,

~Robert

  Test case:

2. Open the launcher swiping from the left.
3. Close the launcher without triggering any touches in the app.

  Expected: Tapping outside the launcher will close it without touches reaching
the app.
  Observed: Tapping outside the launcher closes it but unwanted touches reach
the app.

  You can close the launcher by swiping it back off the side, but it's
  too small to do that very easily without also accidentally touching

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1604322] Re: The SSID gets connected directly without password entered properly in WiFi list

2016-07-27 Thread Vicamo Yang
I did not digg into Unity8 and qmenumodel too much but in
${unity8_srctop}/qml/Wizard/Pages/30-wifi.qml,

  LocalComponents.Page {
readonly property bool connected: Connectivity.online

Component {
  id: accessPointComponent
  ListItem {
readonly property bool isConnected: menuData && menuData.actionState
onClicked: {
  unityMenuModel.activate(menuIndex);
}
  }
}

Component {
  id: forwardButton
  LocalComponents.StackButton {
text: (connected || listview.count === 0) ? i18n.tr("Next") :
i18n.tr("Skip")
onClicked: pageStack.next()
  }
}

Many irrelevant lines removed. So from above source code you see the
forwardButton becomes "Next" when `Connectivity.online` evaluates to
true, but the list items become "connected" when the
`menuData.actionState` is valid. The latter is obviously wrong because
its state is changed by the call `unityMenuModel.activate(menuIndex)`,
which is always executed on item being clicked.

Please fix the qml accordingly.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1607169] [NEW] Youtube Videos in Video Scope are not working

2016-07-27 Thread André Fettouhi
Public bug reported:

I have a Meizu MX4 running the OTA-12 update as of this morning and
since OTA-9 I think clicking on a youtube in the video, music or youtube
scope doesn't do anything. Normally one would get a preview of the
youtube video along with a discription below and then you could click
the video again and the web browser would start up and play the video.
This still works for videos on Vimeo but not on Youtube. This has been
broken for months now. It also happens as mention in the Music scope and
Youtube scope. I was hopng that this would have been fixed with the
OTA-12 update since this update focused on bugs and that you now could
play videos directly from the Video scope. But sadly no... Has there
been an API change with Youtube that caused this breakage maybe?

** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu)

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1590765] Re: OSK flickers and buttons are sometimes invisble

2016-07-27 Thread Daniel van Vugt
This is confusing because there are two different fixes in series 0.23
for the same bug.

A more accurate description of release 0.23.5 would be that we updated
the fix for bug 1590765 and turned on NBS again.

Although with series 0.24 coming very soon, I would recommend not doing
that. We shouldn't be enabling major new features in a stable point
release. So forget 0.23.5 I say.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1604322] Re: The SSID gets connected directly without password entered properly in OOBE WiFi list

2016-07-27 Thread Vicamo Yang
@lukas-kde, the password doesn't exist on the device ever because it's a
newly flashed device. Besides, even somehow the device did not remove
the password after the flash process, which I don't really think so,
then NetworkManager should have begin the connecting process and
automatically connects the AP in a given short time period and indicator
icon and the skip/next label should reflect this truth, but this just
__doesnot__ happen. It's not about the password. Please focus on the
entry connection state not being synced with indicator and skip/next
label only.

And please don't set the bug status to Incomplete again.

  Password field briefly displays characters when input using a keyboard

Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When running Unity 8 on my classic desktop I have to enter my password
  in to, for example, the store login.

  If I am entering text using a real keyboard I still see the character
  displayed in clear as I am typing. I don't think it should do that.

  Use-case: I am making a screencast and entering a password. By
  playing back the video The Baddies would be able to see each character
  I entered.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1602529] Re: Beamer on VGA port isn't recognized

2016-07-27 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
gnubug:
1) Could you please advise to the manufacturer and model is of the beamer?
2) What update specifically did you apply recently that caused the WORKAROUND
to no longer work?
3) Are you able to use the beamer if you uninstall the nvidia proprietary
drivers?

** Attachment removed: "Dependencies.txt"

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1602529/+attachment/4699865/+files/Dependencies.txt

** Description changed:

  If I connect a beamer via VGA-port to my laptop, the beamer isn't
  recognized, it's not listed using xrandr --query nor using disper -l.

  My laptop has two graphics cards, an intel one and nvidia quadro K2000

  I managed to make it work with the following procedure:

  (Initially the graphics card was set to nvidia, VGA is plugged in the
  whole time):

  - start arandr
  - prime-select intel
  - log out and login again
  - start arandr
  - VGA isn't recognized
  - prime-select nvidia
  - log out and login again: now it works!

  I am using xmaond as WM and lightdm for login.

@ernst:

Thanks for the info and the advice . . . yes, clearly the r128 module isn't
working very well . . . . I was leaving it to see if there was any other
troubleshooting to try out. I'll have to look over filing a bug report and
then getting the Xorg.log out to them; I've done that a few times over the
years, but, then so much time passes that it isn't as "clear" as it was.

But, I took a look at your basic xorg.conf . . . I was earlier wondering
that if I ran the "Xorg -configure" gambit, and see which video driver it
would "pick up" . . . ??? I think it would look similar to your file
I have done the xorg.conf thing quite a number of times, using another one
and editing it, etc . . . but, in some ways the -configure gambit is
"easier"???

I guess the question is, if before the r128 install I wasn't using an
xorg.conf file, do I need one now? Or, I would have to do a fresh install
to get back to "the way it was" and now, no choice but the use one?
Looking over the log it was looking like it was or is using "24 bit depth"
. . . but, now, "can't find a screen"???

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1570449] Re: GTK3 Libreoffice default theme is too dark

2016-07-27 Thread Jason Benjamin
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1562513 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1562513

LibreOffice is written using Swing and there are two plugins: one for
gtk2 and one for gtk3. I've noticed that no matter what icon set is
used the gtk3 theme is too dark. In other places like in the
configuration dialogues the text is only slightly brighter than the
button background and is virtually unreadable.

It would be nice if LibreOffice were written using SWT by Eclipse
instead so that it wraps the native system libraries of gtk2/3.

Also I sometimes wonder if the Ubuntu theme system is due in for an
overhaul. I've tried Ubuntu with alternative themes (the ones I thought
recommended) and they don't even look right on Ubuntu.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1541082] Re: [PowerMac3, 1] Blotchy GUI graphics for images

2016-07-27 Thread ernsteiswuerfel
"r128" is the appropriate driver for your card but obiously does not
work properly on your hardware. It would be a good idea to let the
upstream devs know that. xorg/driver/xf86-video-r128 is actively
maintained and still receives patches (last one 8 days ago). You could
file a bug against upstream:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=r128 Just be sure
to have a complete Xorg.log ready to post this bug upstream and state
that it happens on an Apple PowerMac 3,1.

The "Invalid ROM contents"-line does not matter very much, it seems
pretty standard on PPC-Apple. My Powerbooks are working fine also though
this error shows up.

In the meantime you could try to get one of the other drivers
"modesetting", "fbdev", "fbdevhw" to work with 24 bit depth. You can use
my xorg.conf as starting point and edit it manually. Just put it in
/etc/X11.

  I have the situation where a package cannot be upgraded because of missing

  sudo apt full-upgrade

  Only
  sudo apt-get upgrade
  shows
  0 to upgrade, 0 to newly install, 0 to remove and 1 not to upgrade.

  I believe all of the above commands should show that 1 cannot be
  upgraded.

  This bug is not about the particular package I am trying to install, but
about the way apt reports the problem.
  The details, for reference, are that I am trying to upgrade mosquitto from
the mosquitto ppa. After apt-get update I see
  $ apt-cache policy mosquitto
  mosquitto:
    Installed: 1.4.8-1build1

  but if I try to manually install mosquitto I get

  The following packages have unmet dependencies.
   mosquitto : Depends: libwebsockets3 (>= 1.2) but it is not installable

  and

  $ apt-cache policy libwebsockets3
  libwebsockets3:
    Installed: (none)
    Candidate: (none)
  Due to the fact that libwebsockets3 is not available for Xenial.
  As I said this bug is not about the problem with this particular package but
about the fact that apt does not report that there is a package to be upgraded,
but it cannot be done.

Status in ubuntu-system-settings package in Ubuntu:

Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  This affects vivid and (somewhat recently?) 14.09.

  At some point, apps started to request access to
  org.freedesktop.Accounts for something, but I'm not sure what. It has
  been conjectured in this bug that it is due to vibration settings.
  Filing against ubuntu-system-settings for now, but please feel free to
  move to the correct package.

  This happens with webapps:
  Apr  7 08:42:17 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"
operation="dbus_method_call"  bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.Introspectable" member="Introspect" mask="send"
name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=2632
profile="com.ubuntu.developer.webapps.webapp-facebook_webapp-facebook_1.0.26"
peer_pid=1596 peer_profile="unconfined"
  Apr  7 08:42:17 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"
operation="dbus_method_call"  bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
interface="org.freedesktop.Accounts" member="FindUserById" mask="send"
name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=2632
profile="com.ubuntu.developer.webapps.webapp-facebook_webapp-facebook_1.0.26"
peer_pid=1596 peer_profile="unconfined"

  and QML apps:
  Apr  7 08:43:40 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"
operation="dbus_method_call"  bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.Introspectable" member="Introspect" mask="send"
name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=3377
profile="com.ubuntu.calculator_calculator_1.3.339" peer_pid=1596
peer_profile="unconfined"
  Apr  7 08:43:40 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"
operation="dbus_method_call"  bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
interface="org.freedesktop.Accounts" member="FindUserById" mask="send"
name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=3377
profile="com.ubuntu.calculator_calculator_1.3.339" peer_pid=1596
peer_profile="unconfined"

  The following rules allow the requested access:
dbus (send)
 bus=system
 path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
 interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.{Introspectable,Properties}"
 member=Introspect
 peer=(name=org.freedesktop.Accounts,label=unconfined),
dbus (send)
 bus=system
 path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
 interface="org.freedesktop.Accounts"
 member=FindUserById
 peer=(name=org.freedesktop.Accounts,label=unconfined),
dbus (send)
 bus=system
 path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts/User[0-9]*"
 interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties"
 member=Get
 peer=(name=org.freedesktop.Accounts,label=unconfined),

  However, the above is too lenient and constitutes a privacy leak for
  apps. FindUserById could be used by a malicious app to enumerate
  usernames on multiuser systems and because we can't mediate method
  data with apparmor, the Get() method can be used to obtain any
  information provided by this interface.

  The following can be used to see what can be leaked to a malicious app:
  gdbus introspect --system -d org.freedesktop.Accounts -o
/org/freedesktop/Accounts/User`id -u phablet`

  This can be solved in a couple of ways:
  1. add whatever information the app is trying to access to a new helper
service that only exposes things that the app needs. This could be a single
standalone service, perhaps something from ubuntu-system-settings, that could
expose any number of things-- the current locale, if the locale changed, if the
grid units changed, the vibration settings, etc. Since this service wouldn't
have any sensitive information, you could use standard dbus
properties/Get()/etc
  2. add a new dbus API to an existing service such that apparmor rules can
then be used to allow by method (eg, GetVibration() or something)

  I won't dictate the implementation except to mention that '1' seems
  like something generally useful and I believe that it was something
  the ubuntu-system-settings devs were already looking at for detecting
  locale changes without rebooting.

  Original description
  starting an app in vivid (image 135 on arale currently)

  produces a bunch of dbus denials in syslog ... (there is also a
  /dev/tty one but i think this is just because soemthing tries to write
  an error to console ... so transient)

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1607096] [NEW] lxc-container-default-with-mounting profile systemd permission denied

2016-07-27 Thread Jim Pharis
Public bug reported:

On a fresh install of Xenial just install lxc. Run typical lxc init
setup. lxc-create any Ubuntu version (Trusty/Wily/Xenial tested)
container and configure it to use the lxc-container-default-with-
mounting. No further configuration needed. Start the container. You will
find in dmesg errors concerning problems mounting things in /sys/...

[10870.395952] audit: type=1400 audit(1469484639.890:94):
apparmor="DENIED" operation="mount" info="failed type match" error=-13
profile="lxc-container-default-with-mounting"
name="/sys/fs/cgroup/systemd/" pid=14796 comm="systemd" fstype="cgroup"
srcname="cgroup" flags="rw, nosuid, nodev, noexec"

The container will appear to start and you can attach, but its broken.
Things like networking won't work. You cannot lxc-stop the container
without -k.

Starting the container in foreground mode leads to the following error.

Failed to mount cgroup at /sys/fs/cgroup/systemd: Permission Denied
[!] Failed to mount API fileysystems, freezing.
Freezing execution.

I found defect
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1347020 concerning
Trusty. The issue seems very similiar but not specially calling out the
aa profile. Also, I cannot actually recreate this problem in Trusty.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1587808] Re: Ubuntu-emulator no network on latest image

2016-07-27 Thread Tony Espy
The attached script prevents the route flush from occurring when the
hostname is set.

This script is owned by lxc-android-config, so I'll add a new task to
the bug.

Note, we may even want to make additional changes to that this script
doesn't flush then routing table on VPN events. I made an attempt to do
this ( ie. added an additional check for the prefix "vpn-" when checking
$status ), but was having trouble getting it working. The attached
change just prevents it from running when the hostname is set, which is
what's causing the emulator regression.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1587808] Re: Ubuntu-emulator no network on latest image

2016-07-27 Thread Tony Espy
So... a long time ago, when Ubuntu Touch was first being developed, we
hit a bug with certain rild implementations that would configure the
routing table when a data call was established, and this caused problems
with NM's routing logic.

The workaround was the creation of a NM dispatcher script called
02default_route_workaround, which runs the following command when
triggered:

ip route flush proto boot

This clears any pre-existing routes, and let's NM be the master of the
routing table. As you can imagine, this doesn't play well with
externally managed devices which may have created default routes.

I confirmed that this script was the culprit by adding a logger
statement to log when the script gets called to syslog. By dumping the
script args ( $1 == interface, $2 == status ), I determined that the
script was being called with 'interface=none' and 'status=hostname'.

I compared NM 0.9.10x to the 1.2.2, and turns out there's a difference
in how the hostname is set. In 0.9.10x, setting the hostname is handled
by one of the settings plugins. On an Ubuntu system this is either
ifupdown or the keyfile settings plugins, neither of which trigger the
dispatcher scripts.

In NM 1.2.2, setting the hostname is no longer handled by the settings
plugins, and is now instead handled by the core NMPolicy class. The
static function settings_set_hostname_cb additionally triggers a call to
nm_dispatcher_call with action=hostname.

This fix is to modify 02default_route_workaround to prevent the route
flush from occurring if 'status=hostname'.

  After OTA-9 I started having trouble with my bluetooth connection to the car

  Now I can't even pair the phone with the car's system.
  The car finds the phone, and then asks me to enter the code "" to pair
the device, but after a few moments, it just says the connection failed and
asks me to try again. Which fails again.

  It was working fine just before the update.

  Any logs I should post to help debug?

  PS - The car is a 2015 Honda Civic Tourer, if that matters.

the sound is totally out of sync and stops altogether after a short
time, hope this helps.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1607068] [NEW] Network indicator is empty [OTA-12]

2016-07-27 Thread Lucio Carreras
Public bug reported:

After upgrading to OTA-12 today, everything seemed to work perfectly. But after
rebooting the first time, I was not asked for a SIM PIN number. I could login
and deactivate/activate the SIM card so I could use the phone again. But when
trying to choose a wifi network or switch between wifi and cellular data the

  Network indicator is empty [OTA-12]

Status in indicator-network package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After upgrading to OTA-12 today, everything seemed to work perfectly. But
after rebooting the first time, I was not asked for a SIM PIN number. I could
login and deactivate/activate the SIM card so I could use the phone again. But
when trying to choose a wifi network or switch between wifi and cellular data
the indicator is completely empty. In the indicator bar there is a gear wheel
with the text indicator-network. The page is empty. So I don't have any
possibility to connect to the internet anymore.
  The cellular data option immediately crashes when selecting it.

  triggering the osk, in unity8 would be a very large/complicated
  effort. However, with a manual capability to trigger the OSK this
  could be achieved.

  For design team
  one idea was to add a show/hide button for the OSK.
  realizing this may be undesirable to add another indicator item - a follow-on
idea might be to add an alpha button in the corner of the xmir-root window (the
window that holds any xapp at the moment)
  this way the button presence would only be limited to the Xapp interaction.

Bug description:
  A new bottom edge wizard is being displayed in the recent images, but
  there are cases where it is being displayed when it shouldn't.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1) Flash the phone with --wipe.
  2) Before opening dialer-app, lock the phone and receive a call.
  3) Once you accept the call, dialer-app is launched and instead of the live
call view, the wizard is displayed on top of it, but there is no bottom edge on
that screen, and I believe in this case we should not display any wizards,
specially because the phone is locked, but even if the phone was unlocked, we
should not display the wizard if the view does not have bottom edge enabled.

  Another case is when launching messaging-app or dialer-app in a dual
  sim environment. We have a first time dialog that appears behind the
  wizard. Not sure if that's expected, but seems to cause a bad user
  experience to me.

  Apr  7 08:42:17 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"

name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=2632
profile="com.ubuntu.developer.webapps.webapp-facebook_webapp-facebook_1.0.26"
peer_pid=1596 peer_profile="unconfined"

  and QML apps:
  Apr  7 08:43:40 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"
operation="dbus_method_call"  bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.Introspectable" member="Introspect" mask="send"
name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=3377
profile="com.ubuntu.calculator_calculator_1.3.339" peer_pid=1596

  Apr  7 08:43:40 ubuntu-phablet dbus[797]: apparmor="DENIED"
operation="dbus_method_call"  bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"

name="org.freedesktop.Accounts" pid=3377
profile="com.ubuntu.calculator_calculator_1.3.339" peer_pid=1596
peer_profile="unconfined"

  The following rules allow the requested access:
dbus (send)
 bus=system
 path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
 interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.{Introspectable,Properties}"
 member=Introspect
 peer=(name=org.freedesktop.Accounts,label=unconfined),
dbus (send)
 bus=system
 path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts"
 interface="org.freedesktop.Accounts"
 member=FindUserById
 peer=(name=org.freedesktop.Accounts,label=unconfined),
dbus (send)
 bus=system
 path="/org/freedesktop/Accounts/User[0-9]*"
 interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties"
 member=Get
 peer=(name=org.freedesktop.Accounts,label=unconfined),

Since this service wouldn't
have any sensitive information, you could use standard dbus
properties/Get()/etc
  2. add a new dbus API to an existing service such that apparmor rules can
then be used to allow by method (eg, GetVibration() or something)

  I won't dictate the implementation except to mention that '1' seems
  like something generally useful and I believe that it was something
  the ubuntu-system-settings devs were already looking at for detecting
  locale changes without rebooting.

  Original description

  /dev/tty one but i think this is just because soemthing tries to write

Bug description:
  Using the M10 I can very effectively use Xapps without an external
  monitor. We may want to have separate policies for phones and tablets,
  but I would think its simplest to not do this at all.

  Steps:

  Open a few Xapps in staged mode
  Switch to desktop mode for a while
  Switch back to staged mode

  What happens:

  A dialog is presented with two options - to reconnect (I was never
  connected) or close all

  What should happen

  Nothing, go to staged mode.

  The camera app sets the X-Ubuntu-Rotates-Window-Contents=true flag in
  its .desktop file, which means we don't rotate it in staged mode.

  When rotating in windowed mode, however, we need to counter-rotate the
  window contents (and report orientation to the app as appropriate).

  The bug is two-fold:
  a) viewfinder contents are rotated 90° to the right
  b) camera UI thinks "bottom" is on the right edge

  FWIW long term we should probably look at using things like
  https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qwindow.html#contentOrientation-prop to affect
  this.

  Scrollbars in TextArea currently don't receive mouse hover events, and
  that prevents them from providing the expected UX (the new scrollbar
  expands and shows steppers when hovered with a mouse)

  By having a quick look at the code I noticed that moving the
  Scrollbars below the Flickable fixes the issue.

  I believe that what is happening is that Mouse.forwardTo: [main]
  inside InputHandler is forcing the mouse events to skip the scrollbars
  and go directly to the root item, though I'm not sure about this
  theory.

to play movies (local and from web (like YouTube)) directly from them. Example
- I want to see some trailer of new movie from Film scope. I click and it
launch web browser - and that's the part that makes me sad. Better would be to
see movie from scope; if I need more information - I will click to open web
browser and get info about it.

Bug description:
  Currently, if I search timezones for Boston, and select Boston in the
  results, the Time & Date page will display "New York" as the timezone.
  Which is not super user friendly.

  On the desktop, we save the city name the user picks alongside the ISO
  timezone name. Specifically, it's stored in gsettings:
  "com.canonical.indicator.datetime" schema, key "timezone-name".  It's
  stored like "TIMEZONE NAME" -- that is, the ISO timezone followed by
  one space, followed by the user visible name for that timezone.

  Indicator-datetime and unity-control-center already support that key.
  We should too (I guess we should set it in addition to calling
  org.freedesktop.timedate1.SetTimezone). It might mean extending the
  time-date plugin's SetTimezone call to take two arguments -- the
  timezone and the name.

  This change should be coordinated with unity8, which also sets the
  timezone on the first device boot.

Bug description:
  We should close the Dash Page header extra panel (i.e. the one that
  contains old searches/departments/primary navigation filter) when we
  have a primary navigation filter and one of the filters of the option
  selector is selected.

  We will only allow "sigle selection filters" in there, so the single
  selection option or a radio group (when/if we have it), so we can
  perfectly close the panel when something on the filter has been
  selected.

  Suggested solution to the bug by Albert: FilterWidget needs to have a
"clicked/activated" signal that the FilterOptionSelection will emit and the
PageHeaderExtraPanel will receive and then emit another signal so that it gets
closed, i.e. something similar to what dashNavigation does with onLeafClicked

  **
  Old description, comments up to #5 relate to this description

  When you are using an option filter as the primary navigation widget, usually
dismissing the filter widget by tapping results causes a result preview to
display, but the user really wants to see all results and only dismiss the
filter overly.

  You can see this in the attached fake 500px click:

  1) tap the search magnifying glass icon to display the filter overlay
  2) expand "Discover" (that is the title of the nav filter in this case
  3) select any option under Discover
  4) collapse "Discover" so that the overlay is small enough that some results
are visible
  5) tap results area to dismiss the overlay

  What happens: The preview for the result you tapped displays

  What was expected: the filter overlay disappears showing results
