I'm not sure. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
When it doesn't work, it won't until the next reboot.
And I'm not sure it didn't happen before. It may have been less frequent

Does the Ubuntu php build use the bundled tzdata? A lot of stuff comes from
the system not the source (e.g, pcre iirc)

Same thing with new php pkg release in debian/unstable (php - 7.1.12-1).
It still displays America/Sao_Paulo
That exclude my theory about the tz bundle update. I'll do a proper
bisect next week.

Nish,
Sorry if I didn't mention it earlier but I am able to reproduce in
debian/unstable and ubuntu/bionic with php7.1.

I just notice a new version of php in debian was release --> 7.1.12-1
(sid)
I'll give it a try today and see if problem still persist or not. This
one should include the tz bundle change.

I have the same bug for many releases already, I just could never find the
rightful solution till few days ago. I am running 17.04 and the problem is
still there... Maybe it will be gone once I update to 17.10, I will report back.
It is frustrating and occurs a lot to me as I never reboot my mach
properties:
alsa.card = "0"
alsa.card_name = "HDA Intel PCH"
alsa.long_card_name = "HDA Intel PCH at 0xf434 irq 142"
alsa.driver_name = "snd_hda_intel"
device.bus_path = "pci-:00:1f.3"
sysfs.path
Confirmed, except for me it always resets to 100%. That's far too high,
I need it to be around 50% or so. Either way, the resetting is very
annoying.
