I have some doubt that this is a duplicate of bug 1826125, though I see
how they are similar. I'm experiencing the same issue described in this
bug, and the visual effect is quite different than the photos a

the logrotate for rsyslog is a bit awry. The /etc/logrotate.d/rsyslog has this
