Made a little progress: headphones work with
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=mono-speakers
Volume is loud and clear, in stereo!
alsa-info.sh output is attached with coefficients. Headphones were not
plugged in at that time to keep the diffs to a minimum.

OK, so my kernel didn't have seccomp support compiled in and systemd
just silently fails to set seccomp filters in that case.

Martins trick worked till 19.04. Since 19.10 it seems to be ignored.
Freetype now has version 2.9.1. Any ideas ?

@vorlon, will do my best to test the disco version, but I don't
currently have an ARM disco environment, and usual health battles mean
it'll probably be a struggle to set one up - I'll have a go though!
The bionic version I will of course be all over :)
