weekly TRIM of /home stopped around the end of October 2019 as reported
by Jeffery.

After searching around I found the bug report #1849891 which suggested
to remove backport-iwlwifi-dkms, which I just tried. After rebooting my
wifi is working again.

I heavily use ubuntu as a build platform to build and package C/C++ components.
Some components are checked in a valgrind environment. On some of them, I am
reported with the described memory leak due to bash.
It seems this bug has been fixed in other distros but not

We suspect this is a device (hw/fw) issue, however, not NetworkManager
or kernel (driver bnxt_en). I've added the kernel for the driver impact
(just in case, for now). This is really to eliminate all other causes
and confirm whether it's the device at root cause).

I've had issues with ubuntu for a couple of days now where the system
suddenly freezes. I've tried to use the command ALT + Sys Req + REISUB
with no feedback. The only way (to my knowledge) to get it back is to to
a hard reboot.
The freezes can occur when using PhpStorm
