I was hesitant to kill the release upgrade and restart it, so I used a
different workaround:
- opened a second terminal

Sorry, we were waiting on a bug regarding dictionary keys being modified
to resolve before we could verify this. We have not seen this in the

All that said, Daniel and Jean-Baptiste, I installed 20.04 in a vm and
tried to reproduce this and could not. The apparmor change was about
correctness of the unit so I performed the upload, but I also hoped that
it would address the issue you are seeing.

The directory size limits for systemd journal files are much too large.
The rules woud work for a small[ish] partition dedicated to /var/log but
when (as is usual) /var/log is on the main systm partition the size
limits are too big.
