When I first did a clean install of Ubuntu 20.04. The system got frequently
frozen at random times 4-5 times a day and mostly every time when it was on
charging and I tried to boot. I was using the nouveau display driver instead of
the Nvidia driver. I did a clean install
FYI, version 0.11-4ubuntu2.5 was recently released. If you are still
experiencing this issue, the following steps will correct it:
1. Remove the postinst file from the affected package (version 0.11-4ubuntu2.1):
sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/libjson-c2\:amd64.postinst
2. Re-run the package

My experience with focal-proposed and accountsservice
0.6.55-0ubuntu12~20.04.1 has been that the update causes the currently
executing 'sudo apt-get update' to prematurely abort when the gnome
shell crashes. In my case, this left the linux-kerrnel packages only
half configured. My understanding is

How do you want to open the files? If it's from e.g nautilus then mime-support
isn't the right place where the mimetype needs to be defined but rather
shared-mime-info

Trying to access a fresh install of MySQL, what a complete pain that
is!! I installed mysql-workbench-community from the app store. Attempts
to access the database with user root were rebuffed by an AppArmor error
about permissions.

Right. It's in the library. Programs will remain using the versions of
the libraries that were on the system when they started, so that means
that you need to upgrade, reboot, and *then* try the restart. I should
update the QA steps to make that more clear, will do.

You can add `application/vnd.apple.pages pages` in `/etc/mime.types` on
your system, and I will do it in a future update of the `mime-support`
package, but it will not effect the output of the `file` command, which
uses a different database.

It's not a regression. It is in fact the same bug happening one last
time. I just explained it in the other bug, hope that's clear.
