I can confirm this bug. However, the brightness control gets disabled
right after I plug in a secondary monitor and remains disabled when I
disconnect.

Can confirm that this happens. Not Ubuntu specific though, this is
currently happening in Debian Jessie running Gnome 3.14.1 as well

Public bug reported:
This is a follow up to bug #748539 which fixed the issue where the Unity
toolbar was still displaying on top of fullscreen applications if they
were unfocused. It is correctly hidden, but it seems like the toolbar
still receives mouse clicks. When I click in the region where

Also happens with Mumble. When is this bug going to be fixed? This makes
LIM unusable for all Qt apps.

Pulseaudio just got upgraded to version 6 today for Vivid. Does this
mean we'll see Bluez 5 soon now that HSP support has been fixed?

In my brief testing it seems like sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart is
working, but not sudo service networking restart.

Thanks for the update Simon.
Never mind /etc/init.d/networking restart does not work either. I tried
removing an interface and then doing a network restart, but nothing took
effect.

I too had huge problems with this issue. I have a 14.04 server blade
that takes ages to reboot, but currently it is the only way to restart
networking when adding for example network bridges.
This problem still exists. It is a feature regression. Stop denying that
fact so it can be fixed.

Hi Sebastien, which package version contains the fix?

Does this also fix the issue where the Files icon in Installed

Can somebody reopen this? Or shall Colin and I file a new bug?

No I don't have any nautilus related files in
~/.local/share/applications/
I think Colin pointed out (in the duplicate bug) that the problem really
stems from the fact that in /usr/share/applications, there's
nautilus.desktop and then there's org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop, which is
marked with
This bug is not fixed. Like Colin, I am still seeing a separate file
icon. This is after I dragged Files into my favorites from the
Applications section

Resetting my launcher favorites using the gsettings command brings back
a file icon that doesn't duplicate, BUT it doesn't have any bookmarks in
the right click menu.
So it seems like the Files icon in the Applications section is different
from the one that's being written into
And if I drag the icon from Applications into my favorites, it still has
the double icon issue.

No, I can't confirm that issue, nautilus.desktop has NoDisplay=true
and shouldn't show in the dash, not sure why it does for you
On all three of my machines, org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop is the one with
NoDisplay=true and nautilus.desktop is the one without that line.
I have not made any changes
@Colin, do you also see NoDisplay=true in org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop?

Yes, flat volumes = yes is a terrible default. It frequently causes
sound to blow out my ear drums. Flat volumes = no was the previous
behavior in Ubuntu and should remain as the default to protect people's
hearing IMHO.
