I too had huge problems with this issue. I have a 14.04 server blade that takes ages to reboot, but currently it is the only way to restart networking when adding for example network bridges. This problem still exists. It is a feature regression. Stop denying that fact so it can be fixed. --

No, I can't confirm that issue, nautilus.desktop has NoDisplay=true and shouldn't show in the dash, not sure why it does for you On all three of my machines, org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop is the one with NoDisplay=true and nautilus.desktop is the one without that line. I have not made any changes
