Public bug reported:
We run 'unattended-upgrade -d' from cron and have seen regular core
dumps. Below is some gdb output for one case:

Python crashes are almost always caused by misbehaving extension
modules.
I understand it may not be caused by python itself. I've added the
unattended-upgrades package to the affects list.
