[Touch-packages] [Bug 1693056] Re: do-release-upgrade hangs at The user 'syslog' is already a member of 'adm' every single time
Ok, I got it: 1. purge rsyslog with: "sudo apt purge rsyslog" 2. Install the new distro with either "sudo apt dist-upgrade" or "do-release-upgrade" 3. Several reports confirm, that versions 3.8.2 fix the issue. I'm using the 3.8.4.3 package from debian testing right now and can't trigger crashes anymore. Workaround: Install sqlite3 3.8.2, e.g. you can manually install the corresponding deb packages from either utopic or debian. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1317449]
(In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #134) Ben, and you also get these crashes if you upgrade sqlite3 package to version 3.8.4 or newer, as is suggested in the comments of this bug report? I did update sqlite3 to the latest version available on my distro. The crash still happens, on a less regular bases though. It happens mainly when am switching albums while the album I am in still loads thumbnails. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to sqlite3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1317449 Title: sqlite3 version 3.8.2 breaks digikam Status in digiKam - digital photo management: Won't Fix Status in SQLite: Won't Fix Status in digikam package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in sqlite3 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in digikam source package in Trusty: Confirmed Status in sqlite3 source package in Trusty: Confirmed Status in digikam source package in Utopic: Fix Released Status in sqlite3 source package in Utopic: Fix Released Bug description: Please update sqlite to a version 3.8.2. This seems to happen at least 50% of the times I turn on the system. If I attempt to start the process again after the system is otherwise finished booting, it works fine. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1425959] [NEW] System sounds are always at 100% volume
Public bug reported: Problem is reproducible since the pulseaudio update to version 6.0. If an error message or system message appears with a warning sound, the sound volume goes up to 100%. Muting system sounds does not help. Example: Try to open a file with xdg-open that does not exist. A error message with a loud sound will appear. The sound volume will be at 100% ( It does not matter if it was muted before).
