If I attempt to "Switch users" it'll give me a different graphical
login, let me type my password, blank the screens and be back where I
was.

Public bug reported:
If I lock my screen and return, lightdm-gtk will ask for my password,
but accepts no keyboard input. I can Ctrl-Alt-F1, log in and restart the
lightdm service which mostly solves the issue, but this is a pain to do
every time.
