Re: [Touch-packages] [Bug 1610410] Re: Cursor disappeared.

2016-09-05 Thread Earl Hufnagel
Christopher,

Thanks for the communication. The computer I'm using to test the Ubuntu
16.04 installation is home-built, with a Biostar G41-M7 motherboard hosting
an Intel E2220 processor and 2GiB RAM.

Incidentally, I have not experienced any further cursor problems, or other
problems, since the day I installed the OS. There have been several updates
since then, and perhaps the bug was addressed in these.

All the best,

Earl

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1610410] [NEW] Cursor disappeared.

2016-08-05 Thread Earl Hufnagel
Public bug reported:

After upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04. On-line, found a "fix:" CTL+ALT+F1
followed by CTL+ALT+F7. Also installing GDL. I don't know which worked,
or if the bug is fixed, but I got the cursor back and haven't lost it
again this session. We'll see what happens with next re-boot.
