Same problem for me. I'm using a new DisplayLink Adapter with type DL- 3xxx and the new official Ubuntu driver from DisplayLink. My main monitors have a flickering mouse pointer now, the Display Monitor not at all. I also tried all mentioned workarounds, nothing helped. It seems this is a huge
