I'm having this same problem with a different distro - it's the raspberrypi "bookworm" distro. Everything works fine except that I get these extra pages with "%%EndDocument" carriage return, a bunch of whitespace and then "%%EOF". I take it this is a cups issue? Or maybe it is a specific problem with my Xerox Phaser driver?

The Printer is a Kyocera Taskalfa 5021ci. Every print I make through cups results in a last page with only %%EndDocument %%EOF on it. I've tried to debug this further and if I print with smbclient directly like this: $smbclient -W DOMAIN -U USER //server/printer Unable to initialize messaging context Enter NET.CHALMERS.SE\jochens's password: Try "help" to get a list of possible commands. smb: \> print test.pdf putting file test.pdf as test.pdf (1947.9 kb/s) (average 1947.9 kb/s) smb: \> it works without the extra page. I've tried to find the filter that adds the extra page but can not find it.
