I'm having this same problem with a different distro - it's the raspberrypi "bookworm" distro. Everything works fine except that I get these extra pages with "%%EndDocument" carriage return, a bunch of whitespace and then "%%EOF". I take it this is a cups issue? Or maybe it is a specific problem with my Xerox Phaser driver?

The Printer is a Kyocera Taskalfa 5021ci. Every print I make through cups results in a last page with only %%EndDocument %%EOF on it. I've tried to find the filter that adds the extra page but can not find it.
