Title:
screen goes blank for few seconds when there is new audio activity

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I noticed this after installing 20.04.
At the beginning of new audio activity (playing video or generting system
sounds eg. terminal bell) screen goes blank for few seconds.I can also
reproduce it by opening settings in gnome and going to audio section.

The pulseadio in -vvv mode is attached around one of these events.
This might not be entirely a pulseadio issue, so appreciate a pointer on how
to narrow it down to the source of the issue.
