Title: ifup is iterating over all vlan sub vlan interfaces for ens interfaces Status in ifupdown package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I expect that a single ifup call with just one vlan interface will NOT bring up all sub vlan interfaces too but on my ubuntu 18.04.02 I do see this root@dsr-router-1:~# ifup ens19.2023 ens19.2023 Set name-type for VLAN subsystem. Should be visible in /proc/net/vlan/config ens19.2023.4 Set name-type for VLAN subsystem.
