[Touch-packages] [Bug 1992306] Re: Default to a2dp ldac_hq codec for bluethooth headset and sound distorted
Ok, created a new issue upstream: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues/1400 ** Bug watch added: gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues #1400 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/-/issues/1400 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1992306 Title: Default to a2dp ldac_hq codec for bluethooth headset and sound distorted Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I had some trouble getting my bluetooth headphones to work and I believe the culprit is the default codec that pulseaudio chooses. It appears to work ok when having no other Bluetooth devices connected, but when connecting a bluetooth mouse the audio gets distorted and begins to stutter. The offending codec is ldac_hq. I did some investigating today and found out you can change the codec in pavucontrol. Selecting ldac_sq seems to work without any issue. I don't know what the problem with ldac_hq is, maybe bandwidth? Wasn't able to find any obvious problems in the logs, even when enabling debugging in bluez. While investigating this I noticed others having the same issue, and it was difficult to find a way to change the codec, so maybe ldac_hq shouldn't be chosen as default? [Touch-packages] [Bug 424215] Re: Bluetooth mouse usage makes A2DP audio stutter
@Oscar Carballal Try changing codec in pavucontrol (under the configuration tab). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to bluez in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424215 Title: Bluetooth mouse usage makes A2DP audio stutter Status in bluez package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: bluez When I use my Bluetooth A2DP headset (Philips SHB7102) together with my mouse (Lenovo Bluetooth Laser Mouse), I notice this: Whenever I leave the mouse still for a few seconds (it seems to enter some kind of lower-power-mode) and then start to move it, my music most of the time skips for a second. This makes using these two bluetooth devices together quite annoying... The adapter is a Lenovo "ThinkPad Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate II" (Bus 004 Device 005: ID 0a5c:2145 Broadcom Corp.) [Touch-packages] [Bug 1349462] Re: mw600 sony ericson doesnt work on ubuntu 14.04
This is perhaps not the exactly the same bug as affects me because MW600 shows up a sound output device but it only works as a handset (HDP/HFP) but not as audio (A2DP).
