Sorry for the delayed reply: I've one PC where opening folders doesn't work in "Brackets" [1] as well, but I can't reproduce this issue in a clean VM, so I'll have to investigate some more. Drag'n'Drop the folder into any text-processor (e.g. kate, kwrite) Expected behaviour: All text files should be opened with their content Actual behaviour: There will be the correct number of files opened, but they don't have content and are trying to be opened from the incorrect path. It looks like there is one folder missing from the path to the file Did this work in earlier versions: Yes, this works on a fully up-to-date Kubuntu 14.04 Does this work in later version: Probably (can't test currently), it works e.g. in KDE Neon User Edition. System information: KDE Plasma Version: 5.8.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.36.0 QT Version: 5.6.1 Kernel Version 4.10.0-35-generic Further information: I was told that this works fine with QT 5.6.2 but do not currently have the possibility to test this myself. I've added the PPA from https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa- service/+archive/ubuntu/stable-phone-overlay/ and ran sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade Which gives me Qt Version 5.6.2.
