[Touch-packages] [Bug 2049244] [NEW] linuxx64.efi.stub missing on Ubuntu 23.10 installation
Public bug reported: I installed Ubuntu 23.10 server and converted it to UKI boot, but in the process of doing so I discovered that /usr/lib/systemd/boot/efi/linuxx64.efi.stub is for some reason missing on this installation even though it was supposed to come with systemd. I checked two Ubuntu 22.04 installations (desktop and server) and the file is present on both. For now I copied the file from one of those systems for my purposes as a workaround, but I believe it is a bug that the file is missing in the first place and should be fixed. ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2049244 Title: linuxx64.efi.stub missing on Ubuntu 23.10 installation Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I installed Ubuntu 23.10 server and converted it to UKI boot, but in the process of doing so I discovered that /usr/lib/systemd/boot/efi/linuxx64.efi.stub is for some reason missing on this installation even though it was supposed to come with systemd. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1963767] Re: [jammy] Microphone not working after suspend
Did you test he same webcam as I did (Logitech BRIO)? If it happens for me with two laptops from different manufacturers that have different processors (Intel vs AMD), there is certainly something going on. It happened on 21.10 and now happns on 22.04 LTS version of Ubuntu, so the bug report should be valid IMHO. Thankfully I'm not using laptop actively, it is a really bad experience. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1963767 Title: [jammy] Microphone not working after suspend Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have Logitech BRIO 4k Pro webcam connected via its USB cable to Asus Vivobook Pro 16X OLED M7600QE-L2014X (90NB0V71-M02190) laptop. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1159249] Re: HUD does not show up over fullscreen window
Maybe, you can somehow detect system load (I mean in terms of GPU or whether discrete graphics is enabled like in my case with built-in Intel and Nvidia in laptop through bumblebee). Or even simpler (but narrow case) - I'm playing games from Steam, so when it is running - new behavior is not welcomed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159249 Title: HUD does not show up over fullscreen window Status in Unity: Fix Released Status in Unity 7.2 series: In Progress Status in unity package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in unity source package in Trusty: In Progress Bug description: [Impact] The HUD was not being rendered above fullscreen windows although it would grab the keyboard. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1425334] [NEW] Crackling when increasing default-sample-rate
Public bug reported: I'm on Ubuntu 15.04 x64. Just bought Creative Sound Blaster Omni Surround 5.1 USB sound card which is capable of 24bit 96kHz. I'm editing sudo gedit /etc/pulse/daemon.conf changing: default-sample-format = s24le default-sample-rate = 96000 When I put first line everything is fine, while I'm putting second, even 192000 - I'm getting random crackling all the time when something is playing. Without second line everything works fine. I've tried many tricks found in Internet, different kernels (stock 3.18, manually compiled 3.19.0 and 4.0-rc1) - the same result everywhere. ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to pulseaudio in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1425334 Title: Crackling when increasing default-sample-rate Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm on Ubuntu 15.04 x64. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1159249] Re: HUD does not show up over fullscreen window
Guys, you've broke completely my gaming experience! Hud arrives all the time I click Alt (it is mapped in game to some command) and after returning there is huge framerate drop and I'm loosing 30 seconds to get back to game which is crucial in online multiplayer game. Can this be disabled somehow? It was fine before this "fix". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1159249 Title: HUD does not show up over fullscreen window Status in Unity: In Progress Status in Unity 7.2 series: Triaged Status in unity package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Step to reproduce: 1. Open some site in firefox 2. Go to fullscreen mode (F11) 3. Press "Alt" once. The HUD will not appear, but actually it will start and grab the keyboard, You will not be able to use F11 again to exit the fullscreen mode. You will be able to interact with HUD blindely. 4. Exit the fullscreen mode using mouse and you will see the HUD active and ready.
