Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to indicator-datetime in
Ubuntu.
This is still a problem for me.
@charlesk when running `apport-collect 1317288`, I receive a popup
window:
"You are not the reporter or subscriber of this problem report, or the
report is a duplicate or already closed. Please create a new report
using "apport-bug"."
So I created a new report 15

This is a new ticket for bug 1317288, solely because I cannot use apport
to update the existing bug. When trying
apport-collect 1317288
to update the existing bug,
I'm affected by this. System settings > Time & Date > Clock options are
available and seem to function normally. I've tried the following
solutions; none have restored my clock to the unity panel.
1)
sudo apt-get install --reinstall indicator-datetime;
sudo dpkg-reconfigure -f noninteractive tzd
