I get following error intermittently when trying to add ppa repository:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:~longsleep/ubuntu/golang-backports
Cannot add PPA: 'ppa:~longsleep/ubuntu/golang-backports'.
The user named '~longsleep' has no PPA named 'ubuntu/golang-backports'

Recently I have been facing problem with computer graphics.
Sometimes while working, the system freezes and when the system resumes working
a pop-up window appears stating that "An error occurred", and in the details of
the error there is

Actually, it works for installing packages from software center (auth dialog
appears), still fails silently sometimes (for example when I try to remove
software source PPA).
I also created a new admin user, by running sudo gnome-control-center ->
Users & Groups.
For that user everything works

let's say i opened 4 instances of nautilus file manager. the unity launcher
groups all 4 into a single icon with 4 markers. when double clicked on the
icon, all 4 instances are shown on the screen. so far so good. when clicked on
