[Touch-packages] [Bug 1857891] Re: Authentication code required for keyboardless device

2019-12-30 Thread bersyl91
Hi Daniel,
no it isn't possible to plug an external keyboard.
For the default code, it's possible, but I haven't got a chance to try it: I'm
given a random 6-digit code by bluez to enter.
Is it possible to change that?

Authentication code required for keyboardless device

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:

button mouse (provides left- and right-click depending on the pedal

Whenever I try to connect it to bluez, it asks me for an
authentication code which is impossible to provide, of course.

I've search deeply but couldn't find any means to automatically
  "trust" my pedal.

I've tried it on Windows and Android: it functions smoothly...

  Thank you in advance

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1857891] [NEW] Authentication code required for keyboardless device

Public bug reported:

Hi,

I'm trying to connect a turn page pedal which acts partly as a two-

press) and partly as a keyboard (can send keycodes as enter, space,

Whenever I try to connect it to bluez, it asks me for an authentication
code which is impossible to provide, of course.

I've search deeply but couldn't find any means to automatically "trust"

I've tried it on Windows and Android: it functions smoothly...

Hi,
Perhaps it'd be time to change this bug's status: if it's still marked as
incomplete, never anybody will take a look on it :-(

** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu)
   Status: Incomplete => Confirmed

Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
From time to time, the system loses all wireles networks and kubuntu
network manager applet goes blank - not even one network is shown. All
wifi connections are broken. Rebooting fixes the issue, switching to
WICD on-the-fly enables to continue browsing without rebooting, so it
seems to be no hardware issue or iwl3945 issue.

What to expect: stable connections and flawless network managing.
  What happens: so above.

Further informations about the system, the network configuration, the
package version can be found in the attachment, also parts of rsyslog
  and dmesg.

Interesting, according to some helpers, are the following lines:
dmesg: wlan0: deauthenticating from 02:26:4d:ac:8f:45 by local choice
(Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING)
