Put Jabra BT250 into receiving mode 2. Phone searches automatically every 15 - 30 seconds for a new blue tooth device 3. Phone finds Jabra BT250 and asks for pairing code 4. Enter code into phone 5. I had this issue on an unknown version of Ubuntu 14.10 and the installation of `indicator-brightness` (https://launchpad.net /~indicator-brightness/+archive/ubuntu/ppa) and setting the brightness in it once to the lowest and then to the highest level fixed the issue (persistently accross reboots), but now it doesn't show any reaction neither (I adjusted the package soucres to point to `trusty` after `sudo add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-brightness/ppa` in order to be able to install in 14.10). When the issue occured `indicator- brightness` was not installed. I could only fix the issue by rebooting and entering BIOS/EFI menu and using brightness hotkeys there. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1449429] Re: terminal minimizes to 2x2 square
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1451944 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1451944 ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1451944 Gnome-terminal in Ubuntu Unity shrinks to minimum size -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1449429 Title: terminal minimizes to 2x2 square Status in unity package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I upgraded to 15.04 just recently, but when opening the 'Terminal' (gnome-terminal), it immediately minimized to the upper left corner of the screen. Dragging the edges of it would only work occasionally and limited the size of the terminal to about 32 characters wide x 4 characters long before jumping back to a 2x2 character size square. Please let me know with other information you need. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1302090] Re: Dell Alienware 14, Speaker sound output is mono until a headphone jack is plugged
Yes, it works! Things look a little bit different in alsamixer, though. Now instead of 'Enabled' it displays 'Line Out' in the auto-mute feature, but the functionality remains intact. Also 'Speaker' is set to 0 and cannot be changed. I'm attaching a screenshot as reference. I haven't seen any other unwanted effects from the override. I'm able to adjust the volume using the fn keys and from the sound settings, as always. Will report back if I find something else. Thanks for your help guys. ** Attachment added: alsamixer.png https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1302090/+attachment/4169107/+files/alsamixer.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to alsa-driver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1302090 Title: Dell Alienware 14, Speaker sound output is mono until a headphone jack is plugged Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Here's the required release and package information: Description:Ubuntu Trusty Tahr (development branch) Release:14.04 Package: linux-image-extra-3.13.0-19-generic Version: 3.13.0-19.40 When playing audio through speakers on my Alienware 14 2014, the sound output is in mono until I plug a headphone in any of the two available headphone jacks (obviously, the auto-mute option must be disabled). When I do so, the sound starts to play in stereo. I would love the sound output to be stereo by default and not be forced to plug anything to achieve that.
