I use Dell Inspiron 1545 with Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz × 2 If I use kernel shipped with 18.04, I get 100% cpu problem. If I user kernel 4.14 I get Kernel Panic on system boot up.
After change Kernel to 4.13.x (shipped with ubuntu 17.10) I get my system back.
