Public bug reported: on my laptop (xiaomi notebook pro), ubuntu 18.10 amd64, standart ubuntu desktop (gnome-shell), no application running just activate second display in gnome tweak, let it lock itself the fan is going fast, simply moving the mouse and the fan slow down. wrote a simple script
