[Touch-packages] [Bug 1505802] Re: System freezes daily

2015-10-23 Thread mikahdh
Also have occasional freezes. Running the latest OTA7 on Nexus 4 but had this
behaviour before.
Today it happened twice.
Last time it happened after I received a SMS message. Turned the screen on and
off and after some time I was able to enter the app.
First time this morning I couldn't pick up a call. I just let it rang and after
some time (the call already stopped) I was able to work with the phone again.

Only thing I can do in those situations is going to standby and wake.

After the update to OTA-6 my phone freezes very frequently, almost every day
once.
I just tried to go through all the steps and it appeared again.
  1. Send a message to myself
  2. lock the screen after the message was sent
  3. screen comes on and displays the message notification correctly
  4. I try to unlock the screen, but not left nor right swipe works, pulling
down the indicators does neighter. Pressing any of the hardware buttons has no
effect. I wait but the screen doesn't get locked after the specified time. When
charging the battery icons changes, but still no input is recognized.

Only possibility is to force reboot with holding all three hardware
  buttons for 15 seconds.

I had this freeze also in other situations, and it doesn't appear on
  every incoming message - luckily!

Network is not always recognised. After time or when I move from a wifi to
mobile 3g connection the phone will do either:
  1) not connect to mobile network, even though from the network dropdown bar,
it shows a data network is available next to sim1 slot, but topbar shows wifi
not connected icon and no network is accessible on anything.
  2) when wifi is available, it keeps me on mobile data connection and doesn't
refresh available wifi networks.

Number 1 can sometimes be corrected by entering flight mode and back
again - sometimes. Number 2 can be corrected by switching on and off
  the wifi mode.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1247216] Re: Support for XMPP

2015-07-23 Thread mikahdh
Couldn't convince my friends to stick with it because it was very unreliable.
Messages got lost, propably when you switched cell areas.
Later a few clients came up with xep-0198 and xep-0280 which were pretty
reliable, like 'conversations'. Anyway it's still a mess
because different clients implement different xeps which makes a common,
reliable base impossible.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1402552] Re: [Dash] pull down updating doen't work

2014-12-15 Thread mikahdh
It's the task scope and I couldn't observe it anywhere else. It's the
only scope where I use the pull down update function.

Yes, it survives the reboot.
Yesterday I opened a task which is still missing on the scope - even after a
reboot.

What else information do you need? Any log or so?..

Title:
[Dash] pull down updating doen't work

Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hello,

I'm not sure if it is app relatet but it seems to be a system error.
It worked with rtm10 and doesn't with rtm11 anymore.

When I pull down the task scope it should update the list but it
doesn't. Meanwhile the scope/screen flickers for a moment.

Retreat!
Sorry for misleading. Everything's fine.
Got confused by the flickering, a hidden task in and an unfamiliar sort
sequence.
Please close and delete this bug report for good.
