[Touch-packages] [Bug 1381994] [NEW] Display switching no longer works
Public bug reported: Hi, I have an Asus X202E laptop, with i3-2365M CPU and iGPU. I find that the display switching between integrated and external displays no longer works. Steps to reproduce: * Boot laptop without extenal display attached. * Log in. * Connect external, powered-on display to HDMI port * Press fn-F8 Expected behaviour: * Repeated presses of fn-F8 cycles through (in some order I forget): - internal display only - internal display mirrored to external at internal's resolution - external display only, at internal's resolution - desktop extended from internal to external - external only at external's resolution This was the observed and desired behaviour up until a few months ago, before the problem manifested Current observed behaviour: * Internal display mirrored to external at internal's resolution * Mouse motion continue to work, mouse click input ignored * Further presses of fn-F8 are ignored.
