Guys i have the same problem...and i installed ubuntu 4-5 hours ago so ye sad. Can anyone tell me what to do? I need that hdmi audio output cause my laptop display is busted and i use hdmi to connect to a monitor to do things. I downloaded the latest ubuntu version currently available.
