[Touch-packages] [Bug 2017443] [NEW] Xorg freeze
Public bug reported: When I run on graphical applications (e.g. Calc Libre Office app) the entire system freezes. First, the application window becomes unresponsive, i.e. I still can move the mouse cursor around the screen, but clicking on graphical elements does not yield any effect. The same for the keyboard. Finally, even the mouse cursor freezes. The only thing I can do is a hard reset. As long as I work in the browser environment or the terminal console the problem doesn't happen. It seems the problem is more likely to happen when I quickly switch to the second display/monitor. This bug still affects me on 14.04.1, using Kernel 3.19.0-30-generic. I have not manually modified /lib/udev/hwdb.d/60-keyboard.hwdb, but I am not sure it is the original.
