Ubuntu 14.10 (utopic) reached end-of-life on July 23, 2015. This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. Various sources online suggest this bug is fixed in Network Manager 9.8.8.9 (Ubuntu is currently on 9.8.8.8) but I haven't verified this myself. It appears most of the time... and SOMETIMES it shows the right symbol. This occurs for me on 2 different networks, always Wi-Fi. I don't see where WiFi Radar is involved in this bug report. But, if you are trying to run WiFi Radar along with NetworkManager, that is likely the source of your problem. WR and NM do not play well together and should not be used at the same time. Network manager 0.9.8.8-0ubuntu23 Wifi-card: Intel Wireless 7260 (Rev 73) The Wi-fi symbol in the top right corner does not indicate that it is connected to Wi-fi even when it is connected. (It shows a question mark instead) Expected behavior is that it would show signal strength, or at the very least make it grey and remove the question mark.
