I'm worried there's more to it than that. IIUC today Qt apps talk to the OSK directly on dbus, thanks to this being set on its env: QT_IM_MODULE=maliitphablet The input does not go through normal input systems at all, it goes ~directly from OSK to the input field. Even Qt apps would need to poke
