OK, looks like the debconf issue is underway and I didn't have any
blockers, so I'll approve this.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1612259] Re: [MIR] libusermetrics

2016-08-12 Thread Michael Terry
So, this seems like a not-super-well-maintained package. It looks like
it gets enough love to keep it going (fix ftbfs etc), but not enough to
smooth out its rough edges. That is probably enough for now.

But the bug list could be better-cared-for at a minimum. I glanced them
over and saw several low-hanging-fruit dups and bugs that should be re-
assigned.

Not quite a blocker, but very odd, and worth confirming we aren't missing some
configuration here:
- preinst and postinst pull in /usr/share/debconf/confmodule but never actually
do anything with it? Can we drop the use of debconf please?

Some non-blockers issues:
- Bug 1363386 (plural forms) should really have some resources dedicated to it
- Some lintian warnings that might want a looksee:
libusermetrics-doc: embedded-javascript-library
usr/share/doc/libusermetrics-doc/html/jquery.js please use libjs-jquery
