FYI - Might be: - bug 1811580 Or broken /var/run / /run connection which is related to - https://askubuntu.com/questions/1109934 - https://serverfault.com/questions/941855 You might pickup some hints about the issue in general there. As paride said let us know if you identified a bug in Ubuntu
