2014-10-23 Thread James Henstridge
I hadn't noticed this bug report since it was filed on the wrong source
package. Is this still an issue with the latest images? The QA being
performed would indicate that we don't have a general problem, but
perhaps there is a problem specific to the files you are trying, or some
detail of how you are transferring them?

2014-08-19 Thread Alexander Sack
for me mediascanner also falls over on krillin r199; it works for same
video on N4.

./.cache/upstart/mediascanner-2.0.log shows:

Extracting metadata from
/home/phablet/Videos/big_buck_bunny_480p_H264_AAC_25fps_1800K.MP4.
Error when indexing: Unable to discover file
/home/phablet/Videos/big_buck_bunny_480p_H264_AAC_25fps_1800K.MP4
