And when I use the multimedia keys on my notebook (Volume Up, Down, Mute), they have effect on the sound coming out of the notebook, not the external speakers. The expected result would be that, when I connect/reconnect the bluetooth adapter, the volume multimedia keys should bound to the new bluetooth setup, not the internal audio. This Bug also exists in Distributions based on Ubuntu like Linuxmint. Problem persists until today, first solution by Andrei works (add load- module module-switch-on-connect in /etc/pulse/default.pa). Let me just add that I had to reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
