You have been subscribed to a public bug: The default grid view in a collapsed category should display two rows of thumbnails with the number of items determid by the aplicable grid for that lens or category. For example the frequent apps category has a 3 columns grid on phone and a 6 columns grid on tablet - thus, frequent app category on home lens should show 6 icons on the phone and 12 icons on the tablet.
If not enough content is available for two rows the grid will fall back to one row. i.e. 3 icons for frequent apps on phone and 6 on tablet. If content cannot fit in two rows category expansion will be enabled and "see more" pattern displayed. Category expansion should remain disabled for specified categories (For example the frequent app category.) See detailed category structure for both phone and tablet in Phablet Dash spec - Overall Dash IA https://docs.google.com/a/canonical.com/document/d/1tvAb79kOUKtTiRb48E9NYnTNZ0wZqa-TIPQQv3-I5w4/edit#heading=h.z9xkw98gh9wx If content doesn't fill one row the category will still be displayed with available content slots occupied. ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Albert Astals Cid (aacid) Status: Fix Released ** Tags: mwc phone tablet unity-public -- [DASH] category in grid view should display two rows of thumbnails by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1105015 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
