Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug? Your cups error_log has no info in it, please provide a cups error log as described here: Also have a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#USB_-.3E_Parallel_adapter and provide the info from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#USB_printer Ubuntu 13.04 is no longer supported so please upgrade to 14.04.1 LTS or higher.
