Wifi password not accepted

Bug description:
Upon entering the correct password, Ubuntu is unable to connect to the
WIFI network and asks for the password continuously only to fail
again.
This appears to happen from Ubuntu 12.04 - 13.04 and entirely at
random, this problem also can occur when booting from the live cd.
