I had exactly the same problem with Lubuntu 14.10 and HP2133. I was able to workaround by using program HDAJackRetask of package also-tools (including GUI). I used as settings see attachment, and then got sound on speakers. The interesting thing is, that even after removing this settings, the sound works perfectly now.
