I followed your steps and ran the last one (./click.sh) in a loop for
~1.5h without hitting the error. The image I used is r131. Is there
anything else I can do to try to reproduce.

Title:
  Scope failed to install: IsADirectoryError

Status in “click” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  This happens occasionally when I install a click package. Not always,
  but it already happened twice (I've installed this scope like 40 times
  now).

  IsADirectoryError:
  https://pastebin.canonical.com/113111/

  If you want to try reproduce (which is not deterministic):
  $ bzr branch lp:timeout-scope
  $ cd timeout-scope
  // plug in the device
  $ ./drop.sh
  (pushes files, then drops to adb shell)
  $ su - phablet
  $ cd timeout
  $ sudo ./deps.sh
  $ ./build.sh
  $ ./click.sh
  The last step occasionally (rarely) fails with the linked above error.

  root@ubuntu-phablet:~# apt-cache policy click
