Public bug reported:

When connecting external USB headphones, only headphones speakers appear
as an option to output audio, but Microphone only appears internal.

After executing "pulsaudio -k" microphone appears.

Sometimes (could be unrelated) when external HDMI connector the audio
HDMI output do not appear. I once solve it Suspending the laptop and
bringing it back again, then the correct Audio Output options appear.
