Indeed I suppose that Tong is running upstart (which is the default and ONLY supported init system in Ubuntu 14.10). Under systemd it works fine, so I close the bug for now. If Tong confirms he's actually running systemd I'll reopen and investigate. Thanks! ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu)
