[Touch-packages] [Bug 1422309] Re: Today's scope doesn't refresh automatically and indicates wrong day
Hey Chris, we have a little more detail on ResultTtl under the "Deployment" section of our API doc: https://developer.ubuntu.com/api/scopes/cpp/sdk-15.04.1/index/ ("ResultTtl determines how long results should be cached...") Currently these values are set (in unity-scopes-shell) to: const int RESULTS_TTL_SMALL = 3; // 30 seconds const int RESULTS_TTL_MEDIUM = 30; // 5 minutes const int RESULTS_TTL_LARGE = 360; // 1 hour -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity-scopes-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1422309 Title: Today's scope doesn't refresh automatically and indicates wrong day Status in Canonical System Image: Confirmed Status in unity-scopes-shell package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Not sure if that's rather something for unity8 or the "today", but that page should auto-refresh on day changes. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1422309] Re: Today's scope doesn't refresh automatically and indicates wrong day
Is there any documentation on what ResultsTtlType actually does? [Touch-packages] [Bug 1422309] Re: Today's scope doesn't refresh automatically and indicates wrong day
A solution to this could be to set: ResultsTtlType = Large in the today scope ini file. This will cause the scope results to become invalid (and therefore refreshed) after an hour or so since it was last requested and the user looks at the scope. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1422309 Title: Today's scope doesn't refresh automatically and indicates wrong day Status in the base for Ubuntu mobile products: New Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Not sure if that's rather something for unity8 or the today, but that page should auto-refresh on day changes.
