This BIOS upgrade implements 5th-Generation Intel Core Processors code, supports ASUS USB 3.1 PCIE add-on card and support NVMe, and doesn't seem to improve overall stability. If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything?
