I was able to get a2dp working in 15.04 by editing /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf and uncommenting AutoConnect=true under [General] then restarting the bluetooth service with: systemctl restart bluetooth.service After doing this, my bluetooth headset connected using the a2dp profile automatically.
