I back the other one, if I wanted my yputube videos to pause while doing
stuff Id use the youtube app without keeping it running in background
using ubuntu tweak tool.
Know thats another option though, if you want to listen to videos of any
forum you can keep apps awfrom sleeping using ubuntu
Still reproduced this issue on the latest rc-proposed image.

One mans bug is another man's feature :) I've been enjoying being able
to listen to lectures while I browse the web. But I guess YouTube is by
definition a 'video' website and is not useful to most users when not
visible.
